dc.description.abstract Despite of implementing a number of determinants to improve supplier performance, supplier still has problems in satisfying the customers. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of supplier involvement as a determinant of supplier performance in Kenya. Descriptive research design was applied in this study. Target population was one hundred and fifty two (152) managers from sugar processing firms in Kenya. Cronbach Alpha test of 0.834 was obtained indicating the reliability of the research instrument. Content and criterion validity were ensured through incorporating the experts’ suggestions in the final paper. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics which included correlation analysis and bivariate regression analysis after testing for normality and multicollinearity. A strong positive statistically significant relationship between supplier involvement and supplier performance was obtained. I recommend that the suppliers should be involved at every stage of production so that they own the process. Further study is recommended in the area of moderating the relationship between supplier performance and supplier involvement. en_US
